A sad farewell to my lovely Mum; who was without question the most inspirational and admirable lady I could have hoped to have known. Her fortitude and resilience, to keep going against the back drop of the awful tragedies she experienced, never failed to amaze me and my admiration for her was without question. The ravages of Parkinson Disease on mind and body have been an education and she sought to cope with this illness with her usual vigor and fire. Her fight with Parkinson's is now over, but those of us who have experienced this debilitating and awful illness must continue the fight to raise public awareness and research to find a cure. Goodnight Mum; love you forever.

Farewell to my wonderful Mother, who fought hard against the ravages of Parkinson's; fiercely independent and feisty; an extraordinary lady who will be sorely missed but never forgotten. Her rich legacy will live on in her children and grandchildren, who were the epicentre of her life and in the memories of everyone who had the very great pleasure of knowing her.
