Elizabeth Bek-Wilson was born in Dublin on April 29 and died November 30th 2015.

A much loved Mother and Grandmother; a character who put her family first and foremost; an incredibly strong and independent person who believed in keeping active. Parkinson's robbed her of the independence she fought so hard to maintain; but even as the disease ravaged her body and mind, her personality and humour continued to shine through. A spirited lady whose faith and love of her family gave her strength through tragedy, bereavement and illness.

Parkinson's is a cruel disease and much more research is needed to promote understanding and to hopefully find a cure or better ways of managing the illness.
